POMIS, a part of Port Moresby since 1960.
Port Moresby International School (POMIS) offers high-quality international education from Grade 7 to Grade 12 in a multi-cultural community sensitive to the Papua New Guinean environment. As a major educational institution of Papua New Guinea POMIS provides secondary education of an international nature, which also serves to support the socio-economic development of the country, within the framework of the International Education Agency (IEA). The school caters to the educational needs of both Papua New Guinean and expatriate students enabling them to realise their personal and academic potential now and into the future.
